Paul Kingsnorth is an author based in Ireland. He's written two non-fiction books, two novels, a manifesto, and a collection of poetry. His novel Beast, published in 2016, makes up the second part of the thematic trilogy which began with his first novel, The Wake, long-listed for the Man Booker Prize and winner of the Gordon Burn Prize. Kingsnorth's poetry has won several awards and his Pushcart Prize winning essay, Confessions of a Recovering Environmentalist, is now the title of a collection capturing the best of his non-fiction essays from 2010 to 2016.
