Down the Ganges

During a 33-day documentary shoot for our film Elemental, we traveled with Rajendra Singh on a pilgrimage down India’s once pristine Ganges river, now polluted and dying. Here are some snapshots of the journey from the glacial source in the Himalayas to where it meets the sea in the Bay of Bengal. All images taken by Emmanuel Vaughan-Lee on an iPhone using Hipstamatic.
