The Global Consciousness Project

Laboratory scientist Dean Radin describes an experiment testing the relationship between mind and matter. In this experiment, random number generators are used to test whether collective human attention corresponds to a change in the physical environment.

Dean Radin, Ph.D., is a researcher and author in the field of parapsychology. His professional career has focused on experimentally exploring far reaches of human consciousness, primarily phenomena like intuition, gut feelings and psi phenomena. He is Senior Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, in Petaluma, California, and on the Adjunct Faculty at Sonoma State University. Dean's research has been featured in numerous magazines and he has appeared on several radio and television programs. He is the author of Entangled Minds and The Conscious Universe. It amazes me how few people even know about this project, and the implications that it holds for mankind. Thank you for all your research, Dean. I hope more scientists around the world will begin to study and take psi seriously when they see that you have.

Thank you. Those are great experiments about intention and attention. I have a few questions: Where were the generators placed? In order to read the generator's results for the OJ case, did the generators need to be placed in a room where everyone was focused on the case, or could the generators be placed anywhere and still pick up on the collective attention? (the latter seems hard to believe for any event). Also, I wonder how or why the random generators became completely orderly BEFORE 9/11 - because from what I know, not too many people's attention were focused on 9/11 until the moment it happened. I wonder what caused the order before? Thats puzzling. Namaste.
