Interlocking global crises are pushing us to question the assumptions that form the very basis of our civilization. What assumptions are these? And what new insights might take their place?

The first assumption is that we are separate. Many of us Assume that there is a Creator and many of us assume that we are separate from Creator.

My insight (not actually new) is that WE are not Separate from each other and that we are not Separate from Creator. We are Creator. We are Source. If we are Source than we are Everything. We are Peace and War, We are Love and Hate, We are extinction and evolution. No matter what Act is playing on the stage of this reality it is an illusion/creation. The play and the stage and all the props and players ARE CREATOR. So even if the World comes to an end, it is only a scene of a never ending play coming to an end... If we are Source....We don't come to an end. Our story as humans may come to an end... But we as Source are infinite. and every play, each scene, all the props and all the actors are infinitely held within Us.

So could you See the illusion and go along now for the ride? Like going to a movie and even though you know it is only an act, you cry, and you laugh, and you experience, Knowing all along that you are safe in your seat as the Observer, The decider, The Creator.
But don't even assume that you have to go along for the ride...or see the play through, assume you have the power to change rides? Or write a different scene into the play. a new ending or a new beginning, or a never ending story.

Yes not only is it a matter of separation, even when there is a view of being part of a collective it seems often there is an assumption of reductionism. People think 'I'm just an individual, what can I do?' and that goes right on being unquestioned and the prescription is for what we can do as isolated individuals. Even when it comes to those we regard as leaders in this respect, such as spiritual leaders we seem to regard them as exceptional *individuals* rather than any kind of broader perspective that includes the whole. We look at the pointer rather than what is pointed to.

I think the assumption that we are each of us isolated from the rest
of us as well as the world. When we feel separate, all the benefits
of having a common goal and the dynamic organizational symmetry that comes with working together is lost. Moreover the goals become obscure and easy to manipulate. Example: We clear cut the forests without ever really thinking about what life will be like when they are gone. disconnect! It takes a major crisis to see the light and here we are.
I have great faith in humanity and I do not blame the masses for the disconnect. We are manipulated by the few specialized groups of humans who have allowed GREED to be their motto in life, therefore forsaking their opportunity for unity. We must shake the yolk of possessions, this is the fist step in changing our faulty assumption that we own anything but our souls. All physical matter is transient. We do not need new assumptions, a couple of old ones will do just fine. 1) do unto to others 2)do not kill 3)do not steal ( I know these are not assumptions)
