I haven't and can't watch the clip at the moment so I won't be able to take that context into consideration. But as dry and academic as this may sound it's always both being free from (me, in this case) and to. Being free from is fairly straight forward, and I suppose being free "to me" would involve some kind of offering. And of course, for our part being free from involves not asking for anything or demanding anything of the other, and I guess being free to would involve accepting the offering regardless of what that might be. Taking it out of an interpersonal context, it's just what life has to offer us.

Wow I Love Tea123 and Freedom to Be's responses... So right on.
We must set ourselves free, in order to see others as also free.
What we see "out there" is mirroring the possibilites that we hold in our own heart. If I see/experience another as not being Free, then my own heart holds on to this belief/fear.
Each relationship we have is an opportunity to create ourselves new.
We are teacher and student to each other. We are there always to free each other to create, yet we get caught up in the illusion, and we struggle with it.
We are all mutually enhancing to each other as Sami Awad suggests... yet we do not recognize that we are always giving each other the opportunity to enhance, not recgonizing this is what has led to so much struggle.

By seriously asking that question and by honest observance, it will confront us with our own weakness and hideouts and could help us overcome the obstacles and hindrances of our own freedom and ultimatly brings us to the answer: I need to be free/liberated inorder for you to be free/liberated, which can show us that we have to do it together, because liberation in it´s full extend is not and individual thing?!
We can´t do it alone!
This is a reverse process and will not allow us to try and change others for "me" to be free but transform "me" for you to be free... and maybe then realise that there was never anything or anyone that was not free/liberated ever :-)
Anyway, the question itself has so much beauty and compassion in it, that I´ll try to ask it silently more and more with each person I meet.
Thanx and OM

I too need to be free - free from prejudice, false beliefs, anything that keeps me from being who I AM - an extension of God's Infinite Being. If I am free, I will seek to liberate you - by loving you unconditionally and serving the God in you.
